Just as Manchester United are plotting to steal yet another major title, Evra has made a loud call for Samir Nasri to leave Arsenal and join the Red Devils.

Patrice Evra says Samir Nasri must be at Manchester United to win trophies.Samir Nasri is often been compared to Zinedine Zidane but football analysts believe that the French midfielder has some way to go before becoming the player he’s expected to be. His movement, his pace, his accuracy in terms of passes have made him one of the most talented midfielders in Europe currently.

However, some think it’s a shame that Nasri’s team work has so far not been rewarded with cup success; Manchester United’s Patrice Evra is part of this group of people. On Wednesday, The Sun quoted the defender as saying:

“If Samir [Nasri] comes [to Manchester United], he has to know there is no room for mistakes. Each year, you are playing to win. That’s Manchester United's culture.

“Each year, it’s a guarantee of a title. I’ve been at Manchester [United] for five years now and I cannot remember how many trophies I have won. 13? 15?

“So, ‘Petit Prince’ [‘Little Prince’ in French], if you want to become ‘King’ you know where you have to go.”

Patrice Evra’s comments may sound disrespectful to Arsenal supporters. Most Gunners fans, besides, might retort that a move for Nasri to Old Trafford could only happen in Evra's dreams.

Well, the Manchester United defender is apparently trying his luck at helping Alex Ferguson find a replacement for Ryan Giggs or Paul Scholes. Both veterans are set to retire soon and Manchester United need reinforcement in midfield with crocked Owen Hargreaves also quitting Old Trafford as a free agent at the end of the season.
