Fianlly on top of the league table after a difficult start, PSG will now look to pull away from the chasing pack as they travel to face a Nantes side who have won just one of their last five fixtures.

Preview: Nantes vs PSG

After a wobbly start to the season that saw them lose their first couple of games, PSG have now gotten back to where they should be, and Les Parisiens will be aiming to now pull away from the chasing pack when they travel to face 15th-placed Nantes this Saturday. Les Canaris have played one less game than their upcoming opponents because their last match with Lens was cancelled due to their opponents having a COVID-19 outbreak in their ranks, so they've had a fortnight of rest ahead of this fixture.

Nantes did manage to end a four game winless streak with a 3-1 Brest on October 18, but the fact that they haven't been in action for nearly two weeks could be a major issue here. PSG notably have won all but one of their last 20 meetings with Les Canaris across all competitions and have fully hit their stride at the right time. Thomas Tuchel's men did lose 2-1 to Manchester United in their Champions League opener, but recovered by earning a hard-fought 2-0 win over Turkish side İstanbul Başakşehir, with Moise Kean grabbing a double and are now looking for their seventh straight win in Ligue 1.

Although PSG are battling quite a few injuries, with Neymar joining that list, the fact that Kean was on the score-sheet to give them all three points shows the strength in numbers the French champions have at their disposal, which doesn't bode well for their opponents in Ligue 1. Kean was also involved in their recent 4-0 drubbing of Dijon with another brace, while Kylian Mbappe finished things off in the second half, and the duo will definitely be starting up front for this game here with Neymar on the treatment table.
