Bayern München sealed their spot in the UEFA Champions League final, and their run in the competition has been boosted by Robert Lewandowski's antics.
The Polish footballer scored a late header against Olympique Lyon in the semi-final between Die Roten and the French side, extending his goalscoring streak in the tournament. Furthermore, the former Borussia Dortmund striker established a new record for a member of a German team in the tournament.
9 - Bayern's Robert Lewandowski has now scored in nine consecutive @ChampionsLeague games; only Ruud Van Nistelrooy in 2003 (9) and Cristiano Ronaldo in 2018 (11) have scored in as many successive matches in the competition's history. Phenom. #UCL pic.twitter.com/EbEuoAxjIP
