Super Sunday sees Premier League season wrap up as final day will decide top-four race and relegation battle
The 2019/20 Premier League will come to an end this Sunday, with the remaining 10 games all kicking off simultaneously at 11:00 AM ET, which will be aired live on NBC Sports. Of those matches, two fixtures standout and they are Chelsea vs Wolves and Leicester vs Man Utd.
These two games will decide the heated top-four race. The Red Devils and the Blues occupy the third and fourth spot heading into this round but it remains unclear who will qualify for the UEFA Champions League. If Chelsea loses to Wolves, then a draw at the King Power Stadium will see both Solskjaer's side and Vardy and Co. make UEFA's premier competition. Victory for Lampard's men will book their ticket to the UCL, with the result from Leicester vs Man United deciding who would join them.
Ole optimistic ahead of the trip to Leicester
On the opposite end, three teams enter the final round in a bid to avoid relegation. They are 19th-placed Bournemouth (31 pts), 18th-placed Watford (34 pts), and 17th-placed Aston Villa (34 pts). Of the three, the Hornets face the most difficult test to survive as they will be traveling to Arsenal on Sunday. The Clarets, fresh off their crucial victory over the Gunners, will face West Ham knowing that a win would all but guarantee their stay, given that they ether match or better the Hornets' result. Bournemouth, on the other hand, need both Watford and Aston Villa to lose to have a chance of survival. On top of that, they must win their game which is a stern trip to Everton. The exciting NWSL Challenge Cup will come to an end this weekend with the final taking place on Sunday. Cup final ushers in the return of football in France while Juve aim to wrap up title race this weekend
Two crucial European games will take place starting on Friday with PSG's clash with St Etienne in the Coupe de France final. This match will see professional football make its return with the Ligue 1 champions aiming to complete the league and cup double once again.
Elsewhere in Italy, Juventus will get another shot at winning the Serie A title this weekend when they take on Sampdoria. Their surprise 2-1 loss to Udinese denied them an early celebration but Sarri's men still need only one victory to be crowned the kings in Italy.
