“Our matches against Barcelona will be vibrant and electrifying,” Casillas told Real Madrid’s official website.

“Now, we must focus on our clash against them in La Liga because it’s the nearest of them all [in Real Madrid’s Barcelona series]. It’s going to be totally different from our fixtures in the semi-finals [of the UEFA Champions League].

“I am Real Madrid's skipper and I’d be disrespecting Madridistas if I said that Saturday's Clasico didn't matter.

“We are set to defeat Barcelona on Saturday to clinch more points, because La Liga’s title is still within reach. All is not lost!”

How many people will agree with Iker Casillas’ belief that La Liga is not over for Real Madrid? After Los Blancos lost to Sporting Gijon the other time, Barcelona’s chances of retaining their league crown for yet another time received an enormous boost.
