After securing a spot in the semi-final of the FA Cup, the Red Devils turn their attention to their quest for a Champions League spot in the Premier League.

Match Preview

Brighton & Hove Albion will welcome Manchester United to the Amex Stadium on Tuesday night for Matchday 32's encounter. The Red Devils approach the clash on the back of progression t the semifinals of this season's FA Cup after defeating Norwich City in extra-time. A subsequent draw revealed that the Old Trafford outfit will take on Chelsea in the last four stage but, for now, the objective is to secure another vital win in the pursuit for a top-four finish.

United have successfully picked up from where they left things earlier following the restoration of the Premier League season. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men enter Tuesday's clash unbeaten in their last three outings, drawing 1-1 with Spurs and winning 3-0 and 2-1 against Sheffield United and Norwich City respectively.

The 13-time Premier League champions' unbeaten run stretches as far back as January, accumulating 10 wins and four draws over the period. They have also managed to keep things tidy at the back as they have conceded just four goals in their last 14 outings.

Against Brighton, Manchester United will hope that a repeat of the 3-1 win in the reverse encounter will ensue once more with the race for a spot in the top half heating up. For the hosts of Tuesday's game, the mission is to secure another win to put them in the safety zone with the battle at the lower half of the Premier League table also intensifying.

The Seagulls currently rank 15th and have accumulated 33 points after 31 games. This puts them six points above the Bournemouth who sit in the 18th position. With clashes with Manchester United, Liverpool and Manchester City being part of the seven remaining matches, every point is crucial for Graham Potter's men at the point in the season. However, their form over the last 10 matches gives little room for optimism.

Bar the surprise 2-1 win over Arsenal on Matchday 30, Brighton have drawn six of their last 10 games and have recorded three losses. Finding the back of the net has been the biggest concern at the club as they have failed to score in three of their last four matches. The team also has the seventh-worst away form in the league, winning five of their 15 home games so far and drawing and losing six and four respectively.

Team news

The availability of Adam Webster for Brighton remains uncertain ahead of Tuesday's meeting with Manchester United. The Englishman limped off with a hamstring injury in the draw with Leicester and could be sidelined.

Despite picking up an injury to the face, Tariq Lamptey should be lined up in defense after impressing once more against the Foxes. Jose Izquierdo is out with a knee problem. On a positive note, Steven Alzate could be competing for a spot in the starting lineup after making full recovery from a foot injury.

For Manchester United, only Phil Jones and Axel Tuanzebe are yet to return from the treatment table. No player is suspended for the Red Devils as well.
