Preview: Bayern vs Leipzig
Bayern come into this game having re-claimed top spot in the Bundesliga, but only just narrowly. Die Roten presently have a one point lead over the chasing pack, and that includes upcoming visitors RB Leipzig, who will be looking to knock the reigning champions back down to second spot with a win at the Allianz Arena. This season has been a much tougher one for the Bavarian titans, who have won their last five games on the spin, but they won't be taking anything for granted after a tricky first half of the season. Still,they have been given a bit of a cushion after Dortmund, one of their erstwhile challengers, ended up losing in a seven goal thriller to Leverkusen which cost them a chance to pull level on points with Bayern in an earlier match.
As for RB Leipzig, they will be hoping to get back to winning ways after stumbling in their last two games. They were also dumped out of the DFB-Pokal midweek so a victory over a side which has long frustrated them would certainly do wonders to boost their confidence. However, it will be much easier said than done, as Bayern caretaker coach Hansi Flick has really helped the team rediscover their form and they do seem to be finally clicking into top gear at the right moment as they start to rumble towards an eighth straight Bundesliga crown.

Bayern: Ivan Perisic recently suffered an injury during training and looks set to miss the next few months. German defender Niklas Süle has been out since August with an ACL injury, and Javi Martinez continues to be on the sidelines as he battles his way back to fitness.
Leipzig: Team captain Willi Orban is still out following a knee operation, while Kevin Kampl continues his recovery after a foot operation. Meanwhile, Ibrahima Konaté is a major doubt due to a muscular issue.
