The Gunners will travel to the Vitality Stadium with the aim of ending their three-game winless streak. Check out our match preview for more info.

What is the form of Bournemouth compared to Arsenal?

Bournemouth’s form as of late has not been great. The Cherries have won only twice in their last eight games, losing five and drawing once. Stretch that run to their last 15 games and Eddie Howe’s side have only four victories, suffering a whopping 10 defeats.

Arsenal, meanwhile, haven’t fared better for the most despite the circumstances. They are unbeaten in their last five games but drew the last three after back-to-back wins over Man United in the league and Leeds in the FA Cup. Unlike Bournemouth, they have suffered only four defeats in their last 15 matches but unlike the Cherries, they recorded only three victories during that time, not four.

Bournemouth vs Arsenal head-to-head record

Arsenal’s record against Bournemouth is impressive. These two sides do not boast a rich rivalry, having faced off only 11 times, with the Gunners losing only once against the Cherries. Their most recent encounter ended in a 1-1 draw and that was Mikel Arteta’s first game in charge of the Gunners.

Team news

Both sides are dealing with several injuries. It is worse at Bournemouth, with Howe being without the likes of Joshua King, Charlie Daniels, and David Brooks who are on the sidelines alongside Jack Stacey, Arnaut Danjuma, and Chris Mepham.

Junior Stanislas could be back for this game, which is a silver lining. Callum Wilson will thus likely lead the line after ending his four-month Premier League goalscoring drought in the Premier League.

As for Arsenal, they will be without David Luiz, who is suspended after receiving a straight red card in the 2-2 draw with Chelsea. Aubameyang is also suspended but their top scorer will return after this FA Cup clash.

Expect rotation, with Reiss Nelson and Emiliano Martinez likely to feature. Sokratis should be back from illness and could feature alongside Rob Holding. Saeed Kolasinac, Reiss Nelson, Kieran Tierney, and Calum Chambers are all injured.
