The 31-year-old striker fired home from outside Villa's penalty to make it 3-0 in the 28th minute before Jesus tapped in City's fourth.
Inside the 58th minute, Aguero grabbed his second of the day with a neat finish before completing his hat-trick in the 81st minute. Anwar El Ghazi pulled one back for the hosts through a spot-kick in the 91st minute.
