Edinson Cavani has admitted that he would be praying for an Inter win in this weekend's Milan Derby as it would blow open the Serie A title race.
Cavani has stated that he will be hoping for Inter to win the Milan derby this weekend so that his side's Scudetto hopes will still be alive. However, he was forced admit that the two Milan giants are still major favorites.
He said: "Inter and AC Milan are the strongest. The championship is a dream."
But, the Uruguayan was quick to insist that a top four finish remains the main agenda for Napoli. They will face Lazio this Sunday, with Cavani knowing that winning is compulsory if they want to keep their dreams alive.
"We have to win," Cavani commented. "Lazio are also fighting for the Champions League and have important players in every department. It will be tough, we know that."
Cavani also heaped praises on Walter Mazzarri for inspiring the team to dream big.
"One of the qualities of Napoli is the strength of this group. Mazzarri has taught us to be a team."
