There will be two bitter rivalries taking place this weekend in the Liga MX tournament, and we bring you all the details on where to watch all games.

Matchday 12 in the Apertura 2019 tournament will give us a chance to witness a couple of high-voltage games. América will host Chivas in one more edition of the Mexican Clásico, while Monterrey does the same with Tigres in a new Clásico Regio matchup. Neither team gets to those games in perfect form, which means that a win for any of those involved could create a turning point in their season.

Besides the two games mentioned above, there are two other clashes that need special attention. The current league leaders, Santos, will visit Pumas in what should be a complicated outing due to their poor performances in Mexico City throughout the years. Third-placed León will also make a trip to Guadalajara, where Atlas will try to keep their good streak going and climb back on the liguilla train.

On the other side of the table, Veracruz will try to put an end once and for all to their winless streak, but a rising Toluca side could keep them away from that goal.

Matchday 12 will begin with two games on Friday evening. Saturday will be the busiest day, with four games taking place -including the Clásicos-. Three games will be played on Sunday, with the one at Veracruz being the last of the weekend. Morelia will be handed a bye due to the odd number of teams involved in this competition.

Without further ado, let's see what Liga MX's Matchday 12 has to offer for fans watching around the world.

Monterrey vs Tigres UANL

The duel between two of the most expensive sides in Mexican football could see the title holders getting in real problems. Tigres has not been playing great football recently, and even though their bitter rivals are not in perfect shape, the fact that Rayados is still in the liguilla zone puts pressure on Ferretti's men. Hence, the a highly-competitive Clásico Regio could be definitive in both team's chances of success this semester.

América vs Guadalajara

Everything seemed to be in place for an easy game for América, but things changed when Chivas decided to sack their coach and hire Luis Fernando Tena, the 2012 gold medal winner with El Tri in the Summer Olympics. "El Flaco" has not been exactly successful as a coach recently, but he knows how these games are played. Will Guadalajara forget about their woeful form to shock the massive favorite América in front of their home crowd?
