Media rights deals for UEFA’s Youth, Women and Futsal competitions
UEFA announced today the renewal of a multi-year agreement with pan-European broadcaster Eurosport delivering great promotion and coverage of UEFA’s youth, women and futsal competitions. The new deal runs to 2013 and includes the following UEFA competitions:

· The annual editions of the men’s and women’s youth national team European championships at Under-19 and Under-17 levels;

· UEFA Women’s Champions League final and UEFA European Women’s Championship 2011/13;

· The yearly futsal club competition, UEFA Futsal Cup, and the national team futsal competition, UEFA European Futsal Championship 2011/12.

Extensive live and delayed coverage of the competitions will be broadcast on EUROSPORT and EUROSPORT 2 channels. Currently, EUROSPORT is available in 59 countries, 20 languages and reaches more than 123 million households. EUROSPORT 2 reaches over 50 million households in 47 countries and 16 languages.

Eurosport has been awarded the media rights to the above competitions on a platform-neutral basis, enabling the broadcaster to provide multi-platform coverage on television, the Internet and via mobile. In addition, Eurosport will ensure the host broadcasting of the competitions delivering a high standard and consistent level of production throughout.
