Diego Forlan believes that nobody will be given the 'favorites' tagline ahead of another edition of the prestigious Madrid derby.
Diego Forlan is very optimistic ahead of the derby match against Real Madrid and believes that none of them will have any extra edge ahead of this match. Forlan is also convinced that Atletico can come out as winners after he stated that 'anything can happen' in clashes like this.

"In 90 minutes anything can happen," said the Uruguayan star. "All spells are broken, and someday this one will break. Obviously we have been saying this for a long time and people don't always believe us.

"These meetings are like the ones in which we have beaten Barcelona, you cannot have defensive lapses and must be precise in attack. Above all you must be very focused in attack as they are teams that come at you often."

Speculations were rising that Madrid might feeling exhausted after their midweek Champions League duties but Forlan was quick to brush off any nonsensical speculations by insisting that Madrid are already used to it.

"They are used to playing two games a week, and have sufficient motivation to address both games."
