The 2018/2019 Eredivisie title is all but sealed for Ajax with a game left to play after rivals PSV slumped to defeat against AZ Alkmaar on Sunday. Ten Hag's side was put on the cusp of glory after the defending champions failed to utilize their chances and conceded a lone goal by a Guus Til.
Relatively, a brace from Dusan Tadic and goals by Klaas-Jan Huntelaar and Donny van de Beek secured a 4-1 victory for Ajax over Utrecht. With just a game left of the season to play, the Amsterdam outfit lead PSV with three points and a 14-goal advantage.

Ajax was left stunned in the semi-final of the UEFA Champions League after Tottenham Hotspur overturned a three-goal advantage at the Johan Cruyff Arena to set up a date with Liverpool in the final. On Wednesday, the Dutch club could put their European cup frustrations behind and secure a domestic double when it wins or draws away to De Graafschap.
On the other hand, PSV will host Heracles at home and the current holders will be required to score at least 14 goals to stand a chance of winning the league title provided Ajax fails to win or draw.
