Jose Mourinho has shared his views on the clash between Manchester United and Barcelona, and it will surely make Red Devils' fans quite happy.
Speaking as a pundit for RT, where he was worked since being sacked by the Engñish side, Mourinho looked back to his former team's performances this season in the continental tournament to cement his thoughts. If we understood correctly, The Special One believes that his former pupils can get a win against the heavily favored Blaugrana crew.
"United this season was capable to win against Juventus and against PSG why not to do it against Barcelona?" Mourinho inquired.
Despite his initial words, Mourinho cautioned fans from being too optimistic, especially knowing that Messi will be around.
"But Barca will be aware of that, will respect United and Old Trafford and Messi will want to leave his footprint in a mythical stadium," Mourinho added.
Barcelona will try to make the most out of their clash against the Red Devils, especially because they have not been able to make it past the quarterfinals for the past three years. As for Manchester United, their main goal will be to keep a clean sheet against the Spanish side, since their chances of making it to the semis would increase if they can defend their turf.
