Ajax vs Juventus - CR7 hands the bianconeri massive boost ahead of UCL tie

Unfortunately, it's not all good news for Allegri's side, since there will be some major absences for them to deal with in the first leg.

Juventus' fans will surely have mixed emotions when they read these lines, since they will have one of the most decisive players of all time to face the first leg of their UEFA Champions League tie against Ajax. Unfortunately for them, two of their most appreciated footballers will not be around for the same clash.

Earlier today, Juventus' Twitter feed revealed the men that will make the trip to Amsterdam, where they will be facing Ajax on Wednesday evening. The good news for them is that Cristiano Ronaldo is there, but the bad news come due to Giorgio Chiellini's absence due to a knock against Cagliari. Added to the Italian's absence, Emre Can will also miss this clash after picking up an injury against Milan on Saturday's match.

Chiellini and Can will join long-term absentees Martín Cáceres and Juan Cuadrado on the sidelines, while they try to make it back in time for the second leg.

It is yet to be determined if Cristiano Ronaldo will start the match for the bianconeri, as Massimiliano Allegri and the player himself will determine his availability after a few pre-match exercises.
