Simply unbelievable!

If you thought you had seen it all in football, this miss by Paris Saint-Germain star Eric Choupo-Moting might make you reconsider that disposition in watching the sport. The Cameroonian attacker has caused an uproar on social media after he produced what has been labeled as the "worst-ever miss in the history of football" in his side's league clash with Strasbourg on Sunday.

PSG entered the encounter needing a win to be officially adjudged champions of Ligue 1 with seven games to play. However, the Parc des Princes outfit was made to endure torrid times despite scoring the game's opener with the visitors equalising and adding another before the half time break.

In a bid to take control of the proceeding, Thomas Tuchel's side almost restored parity after Christopher Nkunku chipped a ball over Strasbourg shot stopper Matz Sels. Nonetheless, to the dismay of the host and onlookers, Choupo-Moting closed down on the Frenchman's attempt and executed a brilliant last-ditch clearance albeit in the wrong goal.

Thanks to Thilo Kehrer's 82nd minute equalizer, PSG was spared a post-match 'troll-fest' although unforgiving football fans have still been left stunned by Choupo-Mouting's miss.
