The Colombian ace spoke to German newspaper Bild about his second season at Bayern, hinting that he will try to push for an exit in the next few months.

James Rodríguez had been quite shy when speaking about his immediate future...until today.

After months of transfer rumors surrounding the footballer, which were fueled by an alleged bad relationship with coach Niko Kovac, the Colombian footballer admitted that he is not on the best terms with the Croatian boss, mainly due to his lack of playing time since he took over at Bayern.

Speaking to Bild, James revealed the nature of his relationship with the Croatian tactician.

"My relationship with Kovac? Let's just say that we are both professionals, he's just my coach and I'm just a player in his team," James said.

Despite his frustration due to his lack of playing time, James admitted that he will try to make the most out of any opportunity Kovac gives him on the pitch.

"I have to concentrate on my game to help the team. It's up to the coach, he decides who plays and who doesn't. I just have to make the most out of my minutes," the player added.

The Colombian ace has been linked with an exit from the Bavarian side this summer after a disappointing second year. Even if Bayern's execs offered him to continue, James' answer hints that he is not keen on extending his stay in the Bundesliga.

"I have four months left in my contract here. I belong to Real Madrid, but I currently play for Bayern at the moment. I'm here to give everything for the club, but once the season is over, we'll see what happens," Rodríguez concluded.
