Jose Mourinho won the UEFA Champions League with Inter last season by defeating Barcelona in the semi-finals of the competition before triumphing over Bayern Munich at the Santiago Bernabeu. Tonight, there will be a repeat of the 2010 Champions League final and Jose Mourinho has encouraged his former side to beat the Germans once again.

“Inter? I’m always with them,” said the Real Madrid coach while talking to Italian magazine Il Corriere dello Sport.

“And I’ll be against Bayern Munich as I’d be against any other team that plays against Inter. I think the game will be difficult, but...”

This season, the Portuguese manager is at Real Madrid and his task is to guide Los Blancos to European cup glory. Last year, Mourinho successfully triumphed over one of his former teams – Chelsea – as Internazionale crossed the Last 16 of the Champions League before claiming the trophy in the end. Now Jose Mourinho is thinking of meeting either Inter or Chelsea in the final of the tournament at Wembley as he revealed:

“To have Inter in the final? Well, I’d pay to be up against Inter or Chelsea in the final [of the UEFA Champions League] at Wembley [with Real Madrid].”
