On Saturday, Arsenal suffered another setback in their race to finish in the top four. The Gunners lost 1-0 against West Ham to drop three precious points in the English top-flight.
The north London giant traveled to the Olympic Stadium in Saturday's early kick-off. Despite showing promise early on in the game, Unai Emery's men were unimpressive for the majority of the match and thus came away with nothing.
A 48th-minute strike from Declan Rice was enough to decide the game, as an uninspiring Arsenal could not muster a comeback. That result not only cost them points, but it put an end to a long-standing Gunners record.
For the first time in just over 12 years, the Emirates Stadium side had lost an away league game to the Hammers. Their last defeat on the road against their fellow London club came back in November 2006, courtesy of a 1-0 scoreline.
West Ham have beaten Arsenal at home in the Premier League for the first time since Marlon Harewood scored an 89th-minute winner in 2006.

Emery, however, will be most concerned about the points dropped. Thanks to this result, fourth-placed Chelsea could march into a six-point lead over Aubameyang and Co.
Additionally, Man United could leapfrog Arsenal into fifth. That will rely on the Red Devils beating Tottenham by a huge score to boast a better goal difference than the Gunners.
