The Blaugrana offered their Brazilian plus cash in an offer valued at $64M for the Blues' Brazilian winger.

According to the latest reports, Barcelona has reignited their interest in Willian. The Spanish giant has been interested in the Chelsea attacker for a while and thus tempted the Blues with a player-plus-cash bid on Thursday.

The man the Catalan giant is ready to move on is Malcom. The Blaugrana only signed the Brazilian in the summer but they are ready to cash in on him after his failure to break into the starting lineup.

However, as written by the Telegraph, Barcelona's offer of the $49M flop plus cash was rejected by the Blues. The 30-year-old Selecao ace may be in the final 18 months of his Stamford Bridge contract, but the club believes that Barcelona's offer valued at $64M doesn't match their valuation.

Furthermore, Sarri's side is eager to bolster their squad, not lose a crucial player in their lineup. Despite running into a few roadblocks, the London giant is still keen on adding Gonzalo Higuain to their team and having to replace Willian in January would be another headache.

As for Malcom, Barcelona is tipped to sell the former Bordeaux man regardless of whether they can tempt Chelsea to accept the player-plus-cash offer. A January exit is on the cards, but it remains to be seen if a club will lodge in a fair bid for the Barcelona flop.
