The Argentine coach will return to coach Dorados de Sinaloa after his successful run last semester.

Diego Maradona gave his fans quite a scare during Friday's final hours. "El Diez" was ready to travel back to Mexico, but he decided to have a medical examination prior to taking the trip.

The doctors in charge found out that Maradona made it to the hospital with a stomach bleed and decided to act accordingly. Earlier today, Maradona was given the OK to leave the hospital.

The current Dorados de Sinaloa coach spoke to the media as soon as he left the hospital, where he shared a few details on how serious his condition was. Maradona took this stance to avoid any further speculation about his health.

"I went in to have some checkups done, no big deal. You shouldn't listen to all the morons, they are like ants: they can be found everywhere. It's all good here, all the staff wished me well and they let me go. Love doesn't change, and I'm ready now to have my rematch with Dorados," Maradona told reporters waiting near the hospital.

The Argentine tactician praised his employers in Sinaloa, admitting that he turned down a couple of offers from Liga MX sides to continue as Dorados' coach.

"They're waiting for me at Dorados. I said 'no' to a couple of offers from Liga MX clubs, and they can't be prouder. The team's president is really something else; he's 30 years old,  but he is an entrepreneur and a multi-millionaire. We had no problem when negotiating my contract extension,"the Argentine added.

Maradona admitted that he asked for more talent up front, since Panama international Vinicio Angulo will no longer play for Dorados.

"I did ask them to sign a striker. I'm very happy for Angulo, because we rescued him from being unused, and now, his goalscoring skills caught León's eye. He will be playing there and I wish him all the best," Maradona concluded.

Dorados will have their first game of the season on Saturday night when they host Celaya. Their assistant coach will be in charge due to Maradona's health problems.
