København-Chelsea Tie Not My Last – Sack List Survivor Carlo Ancelotti
Carlo Ancelotti will NOT quit Chelsea. The Italian manager won’t follow Claudio Ranieri’s steps by resigning as he is set to resist claims about his possible sacking.

Ancelotti won't walk out from Chelsea like Claudio Ranieri resigned from AS Roma on Sunday.
Chelsea’s title hopes this season are all but hanging from a thread. The Blues crashed out from the FA Cup last weekend after losing a thrilling replay against Everton on penalties. In the English Premier League, they are fifth and twelve points behind the leaders Manchester United with only twelve match-days remaining.
Earlier in February, Carlo Ancelotti gave up the fight for Chelsea to retain their EPL crown as he downgraded the club’s ambitions to a fourth place finish at least. Now after bowing out from the FA Cup, the Champions League seems to be Chelsea’s last hope to win silverware this season.
Disappointed fans of the Blues have been calling on Coach Carlo Ancelotti to be replaced immediately before Chelsea suffers any more unwanted results. However, the Italian manager is not thinking of resigning as Claudio Ranieri did at AS Roma on Sunday.
“I have never quit, resigned or walked out and I'm not in the mood to quit now. So I am not here to consider my position.
“It is the owner that has to consider my position, not myself. I just have to work and try to do my best. This is football, you have to be able to manage at this moment with confidence.”
On Tuesday, the Blues will play away to København in the Last 16 of the UEFA Champions League. The outcome of this match will have a huge impact on Chelsea’s title hopes this season and Ancelotti knows what the entire tie means as he concluded:
“We have 180 minutes to win this game and to obviously keep our season alive.”
