A deleted tweet from the Frenchman's official account had everyone speculating how he is celebrating the news.

The biggest talking point of today is the sacking of Jose Mourinho. After yet another embarrassing defeat, this time to Liverpool in the Premier League, Man United decided to part ways with the Portuguese boss.

The Red Devils made this announcement on Tuesday morning, two days after that Anfield loss and a day after drawing PSG in the Champions League round of 16. People on social media had different reactions to this new, but most could not help but poke fun at this recent unfolding.

Pizza Hut was one of them, with the restaurant chain trolling the Special One shortly after the announcement. They jumped at the opportunity to tease the 55-year-old over being in between jobs once again, claiming he has applied for a pizza chef opening at their place.

Pizza Hut has zero chills

However, the most popular topic was that of Paul Pogba. It was no kept secret that the Frenchman did not see eye to eye with Mourinho, having a long history of fallouts with the Special One.

The midfielder publicly criticized the manager's tactics earlier this season before being stripped of the vice-captaincy. Then there was that infamous training-session bust-up, with Jose allegedly labeling the World Cup winner "a virus" a while later.

Thus, many tipped Pogba to lead the dressing-room celebrations after Mourinho's departure. This belief was also further fueled by a deleted tweet by the midfielder with a picture of him smiling shortly after the announcement. While this was likely a PR post scheduled in advance, that did not stop people from reaching their own conclusions. Check out the best posts below.
