Emery's men will look to end the club's 12-year wait for a league win at Old Trafford. Here is the last Gunners side to triumph there.

In Arsenal's midweek Premier League clash, the Gunners will visit a stadium that they have struggled at for years. That place is none other than Old Trafford, with the north London outfit locking horns with Man United on Wednesday.

Despite winning at the Theatre of Dreams in the FA Cup back March 2015, Arsenal has not won an away game against the Red Devils in the English top-flight since September 2006. Even upon Man United's decline since Sir Alex Ferguson's retirement, the Gunners have not won at their bitter rival's home ground in 12 years.

In round 14, Emery's men will have the chance to end that run when they take on Mourinho's struggling side. Here are the last Arsenal players to win at Old Trafford in the league.

Jens Lehmann

The former Invincible goalkeeper would register a clean sheet at Old Trafford that day, as his side won 1-0. However, his Arsenal career would enter a decline as he eventually left the club two years later after losing his starting position.

Where is he now: He was an assistant coach at the club but left the club upon Emery's arrival.

Emmanuel Eboue

The Arsenal cult-hero would feature in that memorable game, eventually being named Arsenal Player of the Month in September 2006, the same month they won at Man United.

Where is he now: The Ivorian doesn't play for any professional club at the moment but has been linked with coaching jobs since his financial struggles came to the light of day.

Johan Djourou

The promising Swiss defender never really fulfilled his potential at Arsenal, but this was one of his more memorable games.

Where is he now: After a few spells in the Bundesliga, the defender is now at Serie A outfit S.P.A.L.

William Gallas

The same is true for the Frenchman, as his early hype died down before he eventually left the club. Nonetheless, he was a key member of Arsenal's last Old Trafford win in the league.

Where is he now: He is retired, hanging his boots back in October 2014.

Kolo Toure

While Kolo is now synonymous with defensive errors, he was a top defender back then and helped his team shut out the likes of Cristiano and Rooney.

Where is he now: The Ivorian has retired and currently holds a coaching role at Celtic.

Tomas Rosicky

The Little Mozart shined in midfield, showing the fans glimpses of what could have been an iconic spell in London had injuries not taken its toll.

Where is he now: The Czech ace no longer plays professional football, having retired in December 2017.

Freddie Ljungberg

While this was not the most iconic Old Trafford triumph he took part in -- hands down, that goes to the 2002 1-0 win that earned them the double - the Swede still played his part in their last win there.

Where is he now: He is now retired and coaches Arsenal's U23 side.

Gilberto Silva

The unsung hero of the Invincibles would captain the Gunners on that day but would miss a penalty. Fortunately, his team came away with all three points nonetheless.

Where is he now: The Brazilian no longer play. He is a consultant at FIFA and is a businessman as well.

Cesc Fabregas

One of the only players on that day that still plays at a top club, he played a crucial role in the build-up to the winning goal. First, he won the ball off Cristiano Ronaldo and then assisted the scorer with only a few minutes remaining on the clock.

Where is he now: He is at Sarri's Chelsea, working hard to win back his position in the starting eleven.

Alexander Hleb

The man who would eventually leave the Emirates Stadium only to flop at Barcelona was part of Wenger's impressive midfield on that day. Man United could not cope.

Where is he now: The Belarusian currently plays for BATE Borisov, having bounced back and forth from clubs since his failed Camp Nou spell.

Emmanuel Adebayor

He would score the winning goal, finding the back of the net in the 86th minute. He would then go on to become an Arsenal legend...

Where is he now: Jokes aside, he currently plies his trade with Turkish Super Lig side İstanbul Başakşehir after his ugly Gunners exit and spells with Man City, Real Madrid, Tottenham, and Crystal Palace.
