Jose Mourinho will face one familiar foe on Wednesday, even if Arsene Wenger is no longer Arsenal's coach.

Some of you may not remember, but Unai Emery is not on the best terms with Jose Mourinho ever since their time together at La Liga.

The Spaniard boss and The Special One crossed paths while Emery coached Valencia and Mourinho led Real Madrid. Back then, a gesture by Mourinho prompted a cheeky response from the Spanish boss which has Arsenal fans quite happy, especially due to the nature of Emery's words against Mourinho.

Back in 2010, Jose Mourinho complained about a referee's performance during a 1-0 win for Real Madrid against Valencia. The Special One pulled out a piece of paper with a number of mistakes made by the refs during the course of that game, but Emery's retort was nothing short of epic.

"We at Valencia have good reason to make a public complaint against all the mistakes that have led to us losing, but we do not. The position of Mourinho is that of a cry baby," Emery said.

Mourinho has been famously involved in several touchline arguments with some of his colleagues, including his highly-publicized row against Arsene Wenger. Let's see if their first meeting of the season brings fans some of those antics, or if Mourinho has forgotten about Emery's scathing words while both coached in the Spanish top flight.
