Netherlands vs France, Italy vs Portugal, England vs Croatia, and Brazil vs Uruguay are a few of our top games to watch or stream from Friday to Sunday.

UEFA Nations League - watch these

Netherlands vs France

Kick-off is on Friday at 14:45 ET/19:45 GMT on  ESPN+, UniMás, and Univision in the USA; Talksport 2 Radio UK and Sky Sports in the UK; Optus Sport in Australia; NPO 1 in the Netherlands; and TF1 in France.

This is the game to watch on Friday. Two European giants will lock horns in a highly-anticipated UEFA Nations League clash. Both sides are in contention for a spot in the finals, with France holding a slight advantage over the home side.

France needs only a point to progress

Les Bleus are four points ahead of the Oranje and need only a draw to progress to the next round. Sharing the spoils will likely save Depay and Co. from relegation, but if they want a spot in the playoffs, they must beat the World Cup champion and then overcome Germany in their final game. Will they be able to pull this off? Tune in to find out!

Can Netherlands end their awful form against Deschamps' side?

Italy vs Portugal

This tie is scheduled on Saturday at 14:45 ET/19:45 GMT on ESPN+, UniMás, and Univision in the USA; Sky Sports in the UK; Optus Sport in Australia; Rai Italia in Italy; and RTP and Sport TV1 in Portugal.

The reigning European champion will take on the continent's fallen giant in what should be a thrilling affair at San Siro. For Portugal, a draw would suffice in their race to make the finals. Fernando Santos' men have a game in hand, hence the edge they hold over the second-placed Azzurri. However, the away side will be without influential captain Cristiano Ronaldo once more, as the Juventus superstar was left out of the squad for this international break.

Roberto Mancini's side has improved since the embarrassment that was their World Cup playoff defeat to Sweden. However, they are nowhere near their best. Given that they trail Portugal by two points, they will need to win this weekend and hope the Euro 2016 winner slip up in their final game in order to progress.

England vs Croatia

This game will kick-off at 09:00 ET/14:00 GMT and will be aired on Univision and ESPN in the USA; Sky Sports and BBC Radio 5 Live in the UK; Optus Sport in Australia; and Nova TV in Croatia.

This is the most interesting of all the fixtures due to the permutations. All three teams in this group -- England, Croatia, and Spain -- are in contention for a spot in the next stage. While La Furia Roja is safe from the drop, everything from progression to relegation is a possibility for the remaining two.

Whoever wins on Sunday will leapfrog Luis Enrique's side into the number one spot. A draw would see Ramos and Co. move on, but whether the Three Lions or the Vatreni goes down depends on the number of goals scored. A goalless game would spare England's blushes but a score draw is what Modric and Co. need to survive at the very least.

Here are the mouth-watering permutations

Switzerland vs Belgium

This tie begins at 14:45 ET/19:45 GMT on Sunday on ESPN+, UniMás, and Univision in the USA; Sky Sports in the UK; Optus Sport in Australia; RTS Deux, SRF zwei, RTS Sport, and RSI La 2 in Switzerland; and VTM in Belgium. As is the case with the aforementioned UEFA Nation League games, a spot in the playoffs is at stake in this game. Belgium, who enjoys a three-point lead at the top, needs only a draw to progress while Switzerland must win by two goals, 1-0, or 2-1  to qualify.

International friendlies - South American giants in action

The first of the two must-watch friendlies is Brazil vs Uruguay, which will kick-off on Friday at 15:00 ET/20:00 GMT on beIN Sports in the USA; ITV 4 in the UK; DAZN and beIN Sports in Canada; SporTV and Globo in Brazil; and VTV Uruguay in Uruguay.

Argentina vs Mexico is the latter tie, which will begin later that same day. This game is scheduled for 19:00 ET/01:00 GMT on Univision and UniMás in the USA; TyC Sports in Argentina; and TDN, Televisa Deportes En Viv, Azteca, Canal 5 Televisa, and UnivisionTDN in Mexico.

The Africa Cup of Nations Qualification showdown

South Africa vs Nigeria

This game kicks off on Saturday at 08:00 ET/13:00 GMT on beIN SPORTS CONNECT in the USA and Canada; and SuperSport in South Africa and Nigeria. The Super Eagles top their group and will book their ticket to the continental tournament with a win. However, South African can leapfrog Nigeria into top spot with a win and will be keen on treating the home fans to a victory.

The action also continues in the FIFA U17 Women's World Cup, with USA U17's clash with Korea DPR U17, the reigning champion, being the standout fixture. That game will be aired on Univierso, Telemundo Deportes En Vivo, and Fox Sports 2 in the United States.
