Argentina enters this match having won two of their four friendly games after the World Cup. La Albiceleste has beaten teams such as Guatemala (3-0) and Iraq (4-0), but things haven't gone as swimmingly when they face top-caliber rivals such as Colombia (0-0) and Brazil (1-0).

Mexico has lost three of their four post-World Cup games. Their only win came at home, when they defeated Costa Rica with a 3-2 score. El Tri went on to lose against Uruguay (4-1), the USMNT (1-0) and Chile (1-0), the last one of those also played on Mexican soil.

Argentina has beaten El Tri in 12 of those games, with 12 draws and only four wins for Mexico.
Mexico hasn't been able to beat Argentina in over 14 years. Their most recent win against La Albiceleste came during a Copa América match in 2004, thanks to a massive free kick by Ramón Morales that gave Mexico a 1-0 win.
Argentina's most recent win against Mexico took place on June 27, 2010. That World Cup match ended with a 3-1 score for La Albiceleste, thanks to a brace by Carlos Tévez and a tap-in by Gonzalo Higuaín. "Chicharito" Hernández scored El Tri's consolation goal.
The most recent game between these teams ended in a 2-2 draw. Curiously enough, Mexico was being coached back then by Ricardo Ferreti as caretaker, the same role he's been performing since September.

Raúl Jiménez - Wolverhampton's striker has caused quite an impression during his first season with the Wolves, which has caught the attention of some top-caliber players. With Hirving Lozano's absence through injury, it will be up to Raúl to lead El Tri's ailing attack, which has only been able to score four goals in their most recent four games.
