Ten wins from ten games have PSG in cruise control of Ligue 1, and Les Parisiens have set a French top flight record. Should they make it 11 straight wins, they will match the record set by Tottenham over when that Spurs side won 11 consecutive opening games to begin a campaign, and that is something that no team in any of Europe's "Big 5" leagues have done in well over 50 years. But first up will be a home clash against Napoli. The Partenopei come into this game in strong form themselves after beating Udinese 3-0 to make it seven wins out of their first nine Serie A games. With the exception of two defeats - a 3-1 loss to Juventus and a shock 3-0 reversal to Sampdoria - Carlo Ancelotti's side have been quite solid so far this term. With Juve dropping points for the first time after drawing 1-1 with Genoa, Napoli have narrowed the gap on the Bianconeri to four points in the battle for the Scudetto. They certainly know they will face a tricky task in facing PSG, but Ancelotti will be more than familiar with quite a few faces in this squad having coached them for a couple of seasons not too long ago.

Thanks to their narrow 1-0 win over Liverpool, the Partenopei sit on top of Group C, but PSG are just one point behind after cruising to a 6-1 win over Serbian outfit Red Star Belgrade and certainly pose a major threat to Napoli's current standing as group leaders.
