Sacked Liverpool Coach Roy Hodgson Finds Life At West Bromwich Albion
Roy Hodgson’s coaching days have resumed. The ex-Fulham boss who endured a torrid time at Liverpool is now the manager of West Bromwich Albion. Roy Hodgson replaces Roberto di Matteo.

Roy Hodgson can be a happy man again after enduring a jobless condition in football.
Di Matteo was thrown out of the bag earlier this week. Now a statement from West Brom confirmed the capture of Kenny Dalglish's predecessor at Anfield. It stated:
"We are delighted to announce that they have appointed Roy Hodgson as the club's new head coach."
According to reports, the 63-year-old man’s contract with West Brom is a short one. It bounds him to his new team for only one-and-a-half year. But Hodgson will not start with his new duties right away. This weekend, West Bromwich will still be guided by caretaker manager Michael Appleton.
It may be a relief for Roy Hodgson to have found a place as a head coach at last following his departure from Liverpool on January 11. He beat ex-Newcastle United boss Chris Hughton in the race for the post. By doing so, Roy Hodgson has added team number 20 on his head-coaching list.
West Bromwich are just avoiding the relegation zone at the moment. They have 26 points like 18th placed Wigan Athletic but their (-17) goal difference compared to Wigan’s (-18) has put them onto the 17th position. This weekend, the Latics will try to go past West Bromwich when they’ll take on Roy Hodgson’s former club Liverpool.
