After disappointing results in domestic action last week, both Napoli and Liverpool will be hoping to get back on track in the UCL as they lock horns at the Stadio San Paolo.

After a frustrating week, Liverpool will be looking to get back to winning ways as they travel to the Stadio San Paolo on matchday two of the Champions League. Jurgen Klopp's men have seen their unbeaten run in all competitions end thanks to two meetings with Chelsea. Nonetheless, in the Champions League, Jurgen Klopp's men are still on top of their quartet thanks to their 3-2 win over PSG on matchday one and they will face a Napoli side who failed to take advantage against Serbian minnows Red Star Belgrade and had to settle for a disappointing scoreless draw.

However, the Partenopei are under the tutelage of Carlo Ancelotti - a manager who has never lost to Liverpool in the Champions League in regulation time. That is, with the exception of the 2005 final, when AC Milan ended up losing on penalties after 120 minutes. The hosts come into this game having lost 3-1 to Juventus in another huge clash last weekend and will be hoping to also get back on track, but have only won two of their last nine Champions League ties.
