A win for the Giallorossi would temporarily take them to the top of the Serie A table as they face Milan on Friday evening at 20:30 CET (14:30 EST) at the Stadio San Siro.

AC Milan were hoping to start their season off with a win last weekend after having their first game cancelled following the Genoa bridge collapse. Despite taking a lead against Napoli, the Rossoneri ended up crumbling and ending up losing 3-2, much to their fans' disappointment.

Although it is still early, it's a big setback for a team who had spent big last summer and made some smart acquisitions this time around by bringing in signings like Gonzalo Higuain on loan from Juventus. They will be desperate to get back on track here, but will be taking on a side who have been quite strong in their travels, and more important, have successfully won in their last three trips to the Stadio San Siro.

Roma are still unbeaten this season but it has not been the strongest of starts for Eusebio Di Francesco's side. The Giallorossi labored against Torino and needed a late goal from Edin Dzeko to settle proceedings, and they had to come from after shockingly falling 3-1 behind to Atalanta to snatch a 3-3 draw. Both of these results were against mid-table sides Roma had expected to beat easily as the Lupi expect to at least finish in the top four this term and they will be certainly looking to take advantage of a Milan side who are still struggling to find their footing this term.
