Roma vs Atalanta wraps up matchday two in Serie A, and LiveSoccerTV is here to provide you with all the info you'll need to tune in to the match on Monday at the Stadio Olimpico.

Both Roma and Atalanta opened their respective Serie A campaigns with wins over Torino and Frosinone respectively, and both the Giallorossi and La Dea will want to finish matchday two with six points in hand as they lock horns at the Stadio Olimpico on Monday evening.

However, while Gian Piero Gasperini's side cruised to a comfortable win over Frosinone, who are back in Serie A for the second time ever in their history, Eusebio Di Francesco's men struggled against Torino and needed a late goal from Edin Dzeko to settle proceedings.

Roma have seen a couple of notable names leave this summer, including Radja Nainggolan and Alisson. Both men were instrumental in the Lupi's impressive run to the semi-finals in the Champions League which saw them beat Barcelona and finish in the top four in Serie A, and although the capital-based club have brought in replacements, including Javier Pastore from PSG as well as promising youngsters such as Bryan Cristiante from Atalanta and Justin Kluivert from Ajax, there is no doubting that there will be some added pressure on Di Francesco during his sophomore term at the Stadio Olimpico as Roma aim to remain competitive both in the league and in Europe.

Atalanta, meanwhile, had a solid run in the Europa League last season, and having enjoyed their adventure there, have made it clear that they want to focus on European affairs as realistically, the Bergamo-based club do not have much of a chance at challenging the bigger clubs in the Scudetto race. That could play to Roma's advantage as Atalanta will be firmly focused on their upcoming clash with Copenhagen after drawing the first leg 0-0, meaning that the second leg is firmly poised on a knife's edge and thus Gasperini could potentially tinker his squad for the trip to Rome on Monday.
