Earlier on Friday, hosts France and England will determine the third spot of the competition. Don't miss these games with our guide.

The FIFA U-20 Womens' World Cup is close to its end, and the teams playing the final have quite a task in front of them.

Spain and Japan prepare to lock horns in the final game of the competition, with their sights set on the first-ever trophy for each team in this category. Spain made it to the final after beating Nigeria and France in the KO stages, while Japan earned their spot in the title game by defeating Germany and England.

This will be the second meeting between these teams in the competition. On August 9, Spain beat Japan in their Group C matchup, giving the Asian side one more reason to try and defeat the Spanish team.

Spain will have to deal with one key absence during this game, as midfielder Aitana Bonmati will not play in this clash due to her red card on Monday's semi-final. The midfielder had proven key to Spain's performance in the competition, and it's up to coach Pedro López to decide who will replace a key member of his team.

Japan's side may find some motivation in the fact that almost the same team defeated La Rojita in 2014, during the FIFA Womens' U-17 Final held in Costa Rica. Will history repeat itself?

FIFA U-20 Womens' World Cup - France vs England fight for the 3rd place

In what should turn out to be an interesting consolation game, hosts France will try to save some of their pride when they face England in the preliminary match ahead of the Final.

France struggled to beast North Korea in the tournament's quarter finals before losing against Spain, while England defeated the Dutch side prior to their disappointing loss against Japan.

The hosts will have to keep a close eye on Georgia Stanway, who is still battling to become the tournament's top scorer. Stanway's five goals have brought good news for the English team, and her team-mates will surely want to help her claim the tournament's Golden Boot.
