The two Italian giants have brokered a deal among three separate players.

The transfer involving Juventus pair Mattia Caldera and Gonzalo Higuain as well as AC Milan skipper Leonardo Bonucci has finally been completed after days of negotiations. The latter will return to his former club after just a season of playing elsewhere having been included in a direct swap deal by the Rossoneri for Mattia Caldara who was reportedly valued on par with the veteran defender (€35 million).

Gonzalo Higuain, on the other hand, looks set to join the San Siro outfit after a seperate deal was struck on the side for his signature. The Argentinian forward will play the 2018/2019 league season on loan as he's on the verge of signing a one-year deal.

According to Italian news outlet Calciomercato, AC Milan will pay an intial fee of €18m for the service of the 30-year-old and have the option to sign the forward on a permanent basis for €35 million next season.

Gonzalo Higuain's move away to Milan still comes as surprise to many but following the mega-signing of Cristiano Ronaldo, potential exits of a few star names to balance the books in the Biaconeri's camp was inevitable.

Latest development suggest that the three players involved are most likely going to complete their respective medicals and put pen to paper to officially confirm their switch on Thursday.
