Later, Karius' team-mate Mohamed Salah offered words of comfort to the under-fire goalkeeper, who's No. 1 spot with the Reds is in serious jeopardy due to Alisson's record-breaking transfer.

Karius didn't want to keep his thoughts to himself on this matter, and he finally aimed a dig at those who criticize him for his recent mishaps.

Reports after the UEFA Champions League revealed that Karius and his family suffered death threats following his costly mistakes in the tournament's final.
