The Giallorossi is on the verge of pulling off another great deal.

After losing Alisson Becker to Liverpool in a world-record move for a goalkeeper, AS Roma is in the market for business. The Italian club has a war chest to dig into having earned a staggering 67 million pounds from the sale of their No.1 shot-stopper to the Merseysiders.

The funds are being utilized effectively with Roma putting in a 35 million euro bid for his fellow countryman Malcom. The 21-year-old plays as an attacking midfielder and has been frequently linked with moves to to a host of top clubs across Europe after impressing for French outfit Bordeaux since joining two seasons ago.

According to the reliable Di Marzio, AS Roma's official bid is being assessed by Bordeaux's club president whereas the player is expected to agree on personal terms with the Italian club in the coming days. Initial reports suggested that Everton had a keen interest in securing the service of Malcom but the youngster decided against joining the Toffees.

The offer submitted by the English club is said to be five million euros more than Roma's.
