The Brazilian ace was massively criticized throughout the tournament due to his diving antics and obnoxious behavior.

Being Brazil's main man for a second World Cup didn't pay off for Neymar, who took most of the blame for A Canarinha's exit from the competition.

The Brazilian ace left the competition after scoring a couple of goals, and fans will remember his performance in Russia for the massive amount of memes and trolls sparked by his constant diving.

Almost 24 hours after their elimination against Belgium, Neymar took it to his Instagram account to share his thoughts on the competition. We all know that a player that has recently been eliminated can't be all smiles, but Neymar's message impressed many due to the depressing tone it was written in.

Have a look at his message, along with the much-needed translation.

"I can say that it is the saddest moment of my career. I'm disappointed because we knew that we could get there, we knew that we had the skilss to go further, to make history...but it was not meant to be. It's hard to find the strength to want to play football, but I'm sure that God will give me enough strength to face anything, so I'll never stop thanking God, even in defeat..because I know that Your way is much better than mine. I feel very happy for being a part of this team, I am proud of all, our dream was interrupted, but they won't get it out of our heads or from our hearts our dream but they did not get out of our head and neither of our hearts."
