One of the Canadian rapper's latest songs featured a Cristiano lyric.

While Cristiano Ronaldo is preparing for a crucial World Cup tie against Uruguay, some of his fans have been focused on an unrelated topic to Saturday's game. Instead, members of his loyal supporters could not help but notice the 33-year-old's appearance in a newly-released song.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner was referenced by the highly-successful Canadian artist Drake, who mentioned his name in one track from his new album, Scorpion. In the single "Blue Tint", the Portugal captain makes a cameo in the 31-year-old rapper's first verse.

"Way this s**t set up I live like Ronaldo, but I never been in Madrid, woah," is the line which features the former Man United winger's name. While this is a salute to Cristiano's lavish lifestyle thanks to his exceptional career, many of his followers interpreted this as more proof that the attacker is the GOAT.

And as a result, trolls at the expense of Lionel Messi – another player hailed as the greatest of all time – came pouring in on Twitter. Check out the best tweets.

Ronaldo, who has four goals under his belt in the 2018 World Cup, is gearing up for their upcoming round of 16 clash with Suarez and Co. Victory would secure them a precious ticket to the quarter-final where they might meet Leo's Argentina.

For that to happen, Sampaoli's men must also overcome their first knockout stage opponent: France. Both La Albiceleste and Selecção das Quinas will be in action on Saturday.
