He is back!

Brazil’s head coach Tite, has confirmed that Neymar Jr will feature in his side’s pre-World Cup friendly against Croatia on Sunday. The 26-year-old superstar suffered an ankle fracture while featuring for PSG against Olympique de Marseille and as a result, has been out of action since February 25.

Initial reports suggested that he may miss out on the upcoming World Cup but the former Barcelona star has recovered just in time to grace the tournament which commences on June 14. According to Tite, Neymar will not be present in the starting lineup but will feature at a point in the second-half.

“He’s on the bench because he is still recovering,” the Seleccao manager told reporters in Liverpool, where the friendly against Croatia is scheduled to take place.

“He will come on at halftime. Who he replaces, I don’t know but that is the idea.”

Brazil will jet off to Russia after Sunday's game and will kick-start their World Cup campaign against Switzerland on June 17.
