Zinedine Zidane may have had enough of the rumors linking Neymar to Real Madrid, and even if he didn't shed full light on the matter, the French boss did give a few thoughts on how this situation may have an effect on his team.
Speaking in today's pre-match press conference, Zidane finally spoke a few words on the issue, making it clear to his team that he hasn't had a hand in the negotiations everyone is talking about.
"We have to finish the season on a high note, and the other issues will be dealt with later. I don't know if someone from the club is speaking with Neymar, but I haven't asked for his signing," the coach stated.
Nevertheless, Zidane hinted that having Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar playing for the same team would be possible, mainly due to the skills each player owns.
"Good players are always compatible with each other. Someone said that I couldn't play alongside Youri Djorkaeff...On the pitch, there's always chemistry among the greats, away from it, well, that's another story," Zidane added.
The French tactician also referred to how the team has reacted to all the talk surrounding Neymar's transfer.
"The guys know that this happens all the time. We are fully focused on winning the UEFA Champions League final, I'm not worried about those rumors having an effect on our work," Zidane concluded.
Real Madrid will host Celta in what will be their final La Liga game at the Bernabeu on Saturday evening.
