The former Manchester United manager still remains in intensive care but is doing well on the road to recovery.

News of Sir Alex Ferguson’s brain hemorrhage surgery rocked the world on Saturday and many well-wishes and tributes have since poured in on his behalf. The 76-year-old Scottish man is currently recovering in intensive care and latest report suggests that his recuperation is going on well.

According to Daily Mail, Sir Alex is out of his unconscious state and he is showing encouraging early signs of recovery following the emergency surgery. The report also indicates that the former Manchester United manager has been able to sit up and converse with some family and friends who visited him at the Salford Royal Hospital, where he is admitted.

Although things seem positive at the moment, there has been no information as to when he will be discharged.
