With the English Premier League nearing its end, teams at both ends of the table seek to consolidate their respective positions for top-flight soccer next season. Below is what soccer fans in the US should look forward to in terms of the league's coverage on NBCSN and Universo.
3rd place Liverpool - who posses the PFA player of The Year Mohamed Salah in their ranks - will take on relegation-batlling Stoke City in the first soccer action of the weekend. The Egyptian forward currently leads the top scorers' leaderboard with 31 goals and is just a goal away from breaking the record of the most goals scored in a 38-match season.
Live telecast of Saturday's first game is at 7:30 am on NBCSN and NBC Universo. Pre-match dicussions begins at 7 a.m ET with Premier League Live on NBCSN. A pair of relegation-battle will subsequently commence after Liverpool aims to dash Stoke's hopes of surviving in the league. 18th placed Southampton will play Bournemouth at 10 a.m ET on NBCSN while bottom-placed West Brom takes on Newcastle at the same time on CNBC.
The games between Crystal Palace and Leicester City, Burnley and Brighton & Hove Albion, and Huddersfield Town and Everton will also be exculsively on NBC Sports Gold at 10 a.m ET. FA Cup finalists, Chelsea, will chase a win against 17th-placed Swansea City in the last game on Saturday as they aim to keep their top 4 hopes alive. On Sunday, West Ham United will play Premier League champions Manchester City at 9:15 a.m. ET. The game will be live on NBCSN and NBC Universo. Subsequently, the biggest game of the week will be live on NBCSN and Telemundo at 11:30 a.m ET with Arsene Wenger leading Arsenal against Manchester United for the last time in his coaching career.
