A report published in some Spanish newspapers caused Alves to clarify some misguided reports about a return to Barcelona.

Dani Alves may have been away from Spain for two years, but he surely hasn't forgotten about those who criticized him for almost everything he did.

Earlier today, reports in Spanish newspapers misquoted Alves, who in an interview with Globo TV had allegedly said he would return to Barcelona "tomorrow if they gave me a call."

Added to that, Alves supposedly aimed a dig at the team's execs, who did almost nothing to keep him around and let him leave to join Juventus two summers ago.

Outspoken as he is, Alves took it to social media to speak his truth, and while doing so, he blasted several newspapers known for their allegiance to Real Madrid.

Yo volver al Barça? . #loveusomuchguys #ilovethisgame #ALLEZPARISSS

"Me returning to Barça? Calm down, peeps, I know you miss me, I know that life without the one and only 'Good Crazy' is hard, I know As, Marca and the Milk Center miss me too, and even though our footballing history together was lovely and long-lasting, it's now over. When I said Barcelona is my home, Barcelona is in my heart and that I would return tomorrow, it was just a token of the appreciation I have for the club. That chapter was historic. I'm doing great where I am right now, and I am facing quite a challenge along with the people that believe we can turn things around. Oh, and just so you remember, Visca el Barça, cullons!"

The term "Milk Center" was coined by Catalan fans, referring to those media outlets with links to Real Madrid, who often criticize or make up stories about Barcelona and its players. Alves had his fair share of problems with Madrid-based newspapers before, and his feud will apparently go on forever.
