Right now, it may seem like nothing, but when the dust settles, this Barcelona team will be able to celebrate their accomplishment in one of the toughest leagues in the world.
By beating Valencia 2-1 at Camp Nou, Barcelona established a new La Liga record for most games without a loss. Los Blaugranas are on a 39-game unbeaten streak in the Spanish top flight, good enough to leapfrog the former record established by Real Sociedad 38 years ago.
Here's how the club and La Liga celebrated the record.

Things could have taken an ugly turn if it wasn't for Marc-André Ter Stegen, who stepped up with some key saves in crucial moments of the game, while Luis Suárez continued his dominance against Valencia and kept himself in the Pichichi race against Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

This save by Ter Stegen after a sloppy handling of the ball stole some headlines as well.
