Preview
Man City returns to the Premier League almost immediately after their Champions League exit. Unfortunately, the league leader faces another difficult test straight after their 5-1 quarter-final aggregate defeat to Liverpool.
Guardiola’s side has lost their last three games in all competitions and will be hoping to bounce back on Saturday. The game, though, will be a tricky trip to Tottenham.
To make things worse for the away side, they will be without their top scorer, Sergio Aguero. The Argentine’s knee problem was aggravated by a tackle by Ashley Young in the recent Manchester Derby.
Furthermore, Fernandinho is suspended. Additionally, John Stones will likely be sidelined due to a thigh issue.
The north London side will be without Danny Rose, who is out with a calf injury. Harry Winks (ankle) and Kyle Walker-Peters (hamstring) are also sidelined for the Wembley clash.
