Tottenham's striker is now four goals behind Mohamed Salah in the Golden Boot race, but fans have their doubts about how fair that ruling was.

The Golden Boot race took an ugly turn earlier today, as the FA decided to grant Harry Kane a goal they had originally awarded to Christian Eriksen.

Kane made an attempt to head the ball against Stoke, but failed to touch it before it found the back of the net. Spurs would go on to win the game, but it was that decision that has now raised a few eyebrows.

Apparently, Kane's plea to the FA included the striker begging for the goal "on his daughter's life", and football's governing body in England granted his request.

The decision caused reactions from fans, experts and even the current leader in the Golden Boot race. Here's Mohamed Salah's reaction to this decision.

Here's how fans reacted to this ruling. Some of those were quite hilarious and not necessarily football-related.
