Usually a classy guy, Pep Guardiola was left fuming by ref Mateu Lahoz during the game between Manchester City and Liverpool.
The former Barça boss lost the plot after Lahoz, a ref that's had his problems with Guardiola in the past, disallowed what seemed to be a valid goal for the Citizens due to a non-existent offside position. Added to that, a dubious handball inside Liverpool's box made Guardiola storm into the pitch at halftime, where he directed some impolite gestures to the ref, who decided to send him to the stands.
"The pass came from Milner, it's never an offside. And that was also a penalty. Shut up! That's a penalty! Shut your mouth!" Guardiola screamed at the ref, who didn't bother to tell him in person that he was sending him off.
