The never-ending feud on social media between Gerard Piqué and some of his former colleagues took an ugly turn after Barcelona's loss.

If losing against Roma wasn't enough embarrassment for Barça players, now they will have to endure criticism and trolling from their bitter rivals.

Following Barcelona's 3-0 loss against the Giallorossi, Alvaro Arbeloa added more fuel to the social media rivalry between himself and Gerard Piqué, as he mocked Los Blaugranas with a simple tweet.

Arbeloa, who entered a feud with the Barcelona defender after he was labeled to be "as useful as a cone," took the chance to troll Barcelona in true Piqué fashion, as he only needed eleven emoji characters to make a statement.

Twitter users jumped on the bandwagon and kept on trolling Barcelona, adding insult to their loss by posting some images of pro-Barça newspapers that bragged about the team's chances as soon as they found out who their opponent in the quarter finals would be.

Needless to say, this round of the Arbeloa-Piqué feud was won by the former Real Madrid player. Over 600 replies, 15,000+ retweets and 20,000+ likes speak for themselves.
