Milan saw their unbeaten streak come to an abrupt end as they were thrashed 3-1 by Juventus, and now Gennaro Gattuso's side will be hoping to get back on track in the Derby della Madonnina. The Rossoneri, who were dumped out of the Europa League - thus ending their hopes at earning silverware there - are sitll determined to try to qualify for a Champions League berth, albeit that's going to be much easier said than done. Silverware still isn't off the cards as they will face Juventus yet again in the Coppa Italia, but as things stand, there's an eight point gap between themselves and Inter, who occupy fourth place.
As for Inter, they're hoping to keep fifth-placed Lazio at bay while attempting to take advantage of Roma's dropped points last weekend to jump into third place. Luciano Spalletti's side, after a rough patch have now won three of their last four games and they will be determined to make it a fourth win in five against their bitter city rivals this evening.
